Graffiti crackdown tagged a success

THE City of Melville spent close to $420,000 cleaning up more than 100,000sq m of graffiti in 2007-08.

While not quite an epidemic, graffiti – specifically tagging – was rife, with over 7400 incidents reported that financial year.
