Graffiti Taskforce


In December 2008 the State Government approved the establishment of an across-government Graffiti Taskforce.  The Graffiti Taskforce, chaired by Assistant Commissioner Barbara Etter, Director of Strategy and Performance Directorate for WA Police, will report to the Minister for Police and will develop a four-year action plan to deliver a range of 'Tough on Graffiti' initiatives.

 
The aim of the Taskforce is to:

  • prevent and reduce graffiti vandalism;
  • ensure rapid removal of graffiti;
  • ensure sanctions for offenders are appropriate and enforced; and
  • support local government and communities.
